Since it uses WiFi, it pairs directly with Google Home — no extra bridge or hardware needed to get it working.

Setup: Link your Ecobee account as a 'Works with Google' service in the Google Home app, then sign in with your Ecobee credentials.

Keep in mind: Ecobee does not support Matter, so this is a cloud-based connection, not a local one. Your thermostat needs an active internet connection for Google Home control, and detailed energy reports stay in the Ecobee app only.
