Does Wemo WiFi Smart Plug work with Google Home

The Wemo WiFi Smart Plug connects using WiFi.

Because it connects via WiFi, this device won't pair with Google Home out of the box. You'll likely need a bridge, hub, or workaround — check the manufacturer's current documentation before buying.

Setup: No setup is possible — Belkin discontinued this integration.

Keep in mind: Belkin shut down all Wemo cloud services, including Google Home and Alexa integration, on January 31, 2026. This plug can no longer be controlled through Google Home. Only a small number of newer Thread/HomeKit Wemo models remain supported, and this isn't one of them.
